Policies and Procedures

The following are details and policies below regarding reservations at The CABELL HOUSE:

Check in is 2-4pm daily. If you should need to arrive before or after this scheduled time please give us 24 hours notice so we can make the proper arrangements for you. No arrivals for check in after 10:00 pm, please. If you have questions or need special late-night arrangements, please call. Check out time is 11:00 am.

Cancellation Policy: Making a reservation at a B & B is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy: We require two weeks notice prior to your scheduled date of arrival for any cancellations. Cancellations outside the two weeks will receive a refund minus a $25 fee for each room & each night cancelled. Cancellations within two weeks of your scheduled arrival date will forfeit your deposit. Upon arrival, the remaining balance is due and no refunds are given for early departures. Rescheduled dates must have two weeks notice and are subject to $25 fee for each room rescheduled. Date changes within two weeks of arrival are subject to cancellation fees. Guests reserving weekend stays are responsible for both days of the two night minimum stay required for weekends.

Breakfast: We provide a full hot Southern breakfast from 9:00 am –10:30 am. Our guests are also welcome to a glass of wine on request to have in their room, in the living room, or on the porch.

Amenities: All rooms are air-conditioned, are non-smoking, and have cable television. We offer off-street parking for guests.

Office Hours: Someone is immediately at hand or available by phone (843-723-7551) daily between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm if you should need dining suggestions, reservations, tour information, directions, etc.
