Our largest room is elegantly decorated with hardwood floors and oriental area rugs. It has a Georgian mantle over the Federal insert to the decorative fireplace. The King sized mahogany Charleston Rice Bed has a broad carved bench accenting the footboard. There is also a classic Twin sized Daybed. Views from the three west facing windows are of the narrow brick paved Church Street, lined by neighboring 18th & 19th century houses; looking south - a pair of floor to ceiling windows view our white columned upper veranda. There is a large private bath with tub & shower and a dressing room with two full length mirrors & oversized cedar closet. The room has a small digital flat-screen television w/Comcast cable, a Keurig beverage maker, and a ceiling fan, as well as central heating & air conditioning. Included in this list of other furnishings are several cherished family antiques: comfy chair & footstool, nightstand, large tea table, small writing desk, armoire, tall chest of drawers, original art & prints, and two wall mirrors. There is an adjoining door to the Witsell Room.

This room's windows face south and a door opens onto our white columned wrap-around upper veranda. It also has a small digital flat screen television w/Comcast cable, a Keurig beverage maker and, of course, central heating and air conditioning. There is a small private bath with a shower en suite. Furnishings include a padded backed unique antique sitting chair, a large dresser with six deep drawers, a dual mirrored front armoire, a small chest of drawers, and a carved step-up for this taller bed. A handsome wall mirror and two large art hangings are complimented by three smaller signed reproductions by noted Charleston artist Elizabeth O'Neill Verner. There is an adjoining door to the Nathaniel Room.
On the 2nd floor in the center of the hall, this medium sized accommodation has hardwood floors, oriental rugs, a Georgian mantle over a Federal insert to its decorative fireplace. It has views of our columned upper veranda to the east through floor-to-ceiling windows, and a traditional window with a view of the porch that overlooks the back courtyard garden to the south. It has a small digital flat screen television w/Comcast cable, a Keurig coffee maker, central heating & air conditioning, with a ceiling fan; it is decorated with family art favorites, an antique mantle clock and flower vases.
THIRD FLOOR STUDIO
Atop one of the best bed & breakfast inns you'll find in America's premier tourist destination, sits our spacious, new two bedroom studio. Located on the third floor of this charming 19th century family home, you'll enjoy the most modern of 21st century appointments while overlooking rooftops above the historic Battery & White Point Gardens of Charleston, South Carolina. The Studio has a King sized bed, a full bath with a jetted tub and a separate shower. In the main room there is a kitchenette featuring a stove, sink, dorm size refrigerator microwave oven and bistro set. There is a sizable, second bedroom with a comfy bed positioned into the window bay. This petite suite (11” X 14”), offers a QUEEN sized mahogany four-poster bed. It has a door that exits onto the end of the upstairs porch. Located at the end of the 2nd Floor hall, a tall oriental folding screen stands to provide privacy for the few steps for our Randolph guests take to their private facilities: a large full bath with a tub & shower. The Randolph Room has oriental rugs over hardwood floors, small digital flat screen V w/Comcast Cable, a Keurig coffeemaker, ceiling fan, central heating & air conditioning with an added window A/C unit for the hottest of days. This cozy spot has a writing desk, comfy reading chair, footstool, dual nightstands, and a closet with storage shelves. A second door accesses the upper veranda and the back exterior staircase.
