NATHANIEL ROOM

The Nathaniel Room, our largest room, like the rest of the house, has hardwood floors. It has a Georgian mantle; floor-to-ceiling windows and a KING SIZED mahogany Charleston rice bed. There are views out the windows to the west on Church St., a narrow brick paved street, with 18th century houses, to the south of our white columned porch. There is a single bed also in the room, a DAYBED. It doubles as a lounge during the day. A private bath and a dressing room combine with the bedroom to form a private mini-suite accessible through one secured door at the end of the hallway. The room has a small digital flat-screen cable television, a Keurig coffeemaker, and an overhead ceiling fan as well as central heating and air conditioning. It is furnished with family antiques.

WITSELL ROOM

Opens off of the main hall upstairs, also has hardwood floors, a Georgian mantle, two floor-to-ceiling windows, one is an exit door to the upstairs porch, and a mahogany four-poster KING SIZED BED. Room faces south onto our white columned piazza. It also has a small digital flat screen cable television, a Keurig coffee maker and of course, central heating and air conditioning. There is a small private bathen suite that has a shower but no bathtub. There is a door that goes from the Witsell to the Nathaniel that can be unlocked for members of the same party if they wish.

CLAIBORNE ROOM

next down the hall, also has hardwood floors, a Georgian mantle, a mahogany KING SIZED BED and views of our columned porch to the east through floor-to-ceiling windows and a additional traditional window with a view of the porch to the south. It also has a small private bath en suite that has a shower but no bathtub. The room has a small digital flat screen cable television, a Keurig coffee maker, central heating and an overhead ceiling fan as well as central heating and air conditioning.

RANDOLPH ROOM

Our smallest room (~11” X 14”), offers a QUEEN SIZED mahogany four-poster bed. It has a door that exits onto the end of the upstairs porch. A tall oriental folding screen placed across width of the hall in front of the Randolph door provides privacy for movement back and forth (a few steps) from the room and it's adjacent private bath. It is a full bath with a tub and shower. The Randolph is is also equipped with a small digital flat screen cable television,a Keurig coffeemaker, a ceiling fan, and, of course, central heating and air conditioning.

This room has also has a separate entrance from the balcony.

We have ample complimentary off-street parking in the driveways on either side of the house. The city market area with its restaurants, shops, art galleries and nightlife is a lovely walk of about four city blocks from the house. Four historic houses that are open all day for tours are all close by, within one, two or three blocks of the house. The harbor and views of Ft. Sumter are just a few steps away.

We provide a full breakfast including eggs, cut fresh melon, berries, or other fresh fruits, yogurt, and croissants or muffins. Breakfast is served from 8:30 am -10:00 am in the dining room. A complimentary glass of wine or iced tea is always available late upon request. WiFi service is accessible throughout the house and there is a computer downstairs in the den, should you need one.
